This year\u2019s program is big and having a plan helps. So, we\u2019ve created\u00a0seven festival itineraries<\/strong>,\u00a0that are aimed at all walks of life, to help you navigate the festival \u2014 the third is below. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some events from the coast to the hinterland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come, sit, reflect, and welcome the start of 10 days and nights of rich programming from across the region. (NOISE<\/a>\u00a0is also part of the ceremony.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The creative team will introduce the experimental technology and collaborative methodologies underpinning the Beeyali project, creating an immersive audio-visual experience that highlights the interconnectivity of life within marine environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s Organise your Leisure: Workshops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Construct large sculptural artworks in a series of\u00a0workshops for the\u00a0Float-Off Finale<\/a>, where you will launch into\u00a0Maroochydore River alongside your sculptural creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immersive and meditative work illuminates the waters of the Maroochy River with the work of Traditional Custodians \u2014 the Kabi Kabi Peoples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This feature promotes Horizon Festival’s upcoming annual event. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horizon Festival \u2014 the Sunshine Coast\u2019s premier multi-arts festival \u2014 returns 25 August to 3 September 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 10-day offering takes place all over the Sunshine Coast \u2014 beaches, the hinterland, warehouses. The lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At our core: we celebrate place \u2014 it\u2019s the heartbeat of the festival \u2014 and our programming reflects this.  But, more importantly, we honour the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which we stand \u2014 the Kabi Kabi Peoples and Jinibara Peoples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our events vary. And they\u2019re (almost) always in spectacular locations. There\u2019s music, art, theatre, dance, workshops, ceremony, and plenty for the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, pop the kettle on, put your feet up, and enjoy flicking through this year\u2019s program<\/a> \u2014 we\u2019d love to see you at an event.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n
