I&#8217;m a singer\/songwriter\/producer with a passion for mentoring.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horizonfestival.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ReaceRunRecords.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>What materials and techniques do you use?<br \/>\nI write on guitar, piano, ukulele, cigar box guitar and perform solo or with my band (up to a 13 piece big band). I use techniques such as Positivity, encouragement and kindness and I have a 7 month old border collie that comes everywhere with me and helps me teach at my studio too. I used to work as an assistance dog trainer so my dog Teddy helps reduce anxiety in my classes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What kind of inspirations go into your work?<br \/>\nBig inspirations come from live performances I have seen in the past at music festivals and also intimate shows. It&#8217;s that feeling of connection and authenticity that I&#8217;m looking to foster and create. It&#8217;s the foundation of my music and all that I do.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.horizonfestival.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Andrea-Kirwin-5708_lowres.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1152\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>In what space do you like to create most?<br \/>\nIn my studio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peacerunrecords.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peace Run Records<\/a> on Queen st, Nambour. With a coffee and cake from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HuskAndHoneyNambourofficial\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">husk and honey Cafe<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>What has been your favourite or most important work to date?<br \/>\nMy new album&nbsp; BLOOM is the best work I have produced so far. I am launching it on 1 May at <a href=\"https:\/\/tickets.oztix.com.au\/outlet\/event\/8369c811-4628-49f1-9875-ada8cc451b55\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sunshine Sounds Festival<\/a> in Eumundi with my big band on cd, vinyl and digital download.
