Sunshine sounds festival is back

Need a little sunshine in your life? Eumundi’s boutique family-friendly music festival returns in 2023 as part of Horizon Festival.

Sunshine Sounds 2023 is loaded with a huge homegrown line up featuring: Frente, Elixir with Michael Leunig, Katie Noonan and string quartet, Abby Dobson, Deline Briscoe, Clea, Eliott, Sue Ray, Cigány Weaver, Jungaji, Fred Leone, Louise King, Sugarbag Blonde, Mark Moroney, Frank and Louis, Layla Barnett and more!

This year’s festival will take place in the Eumundi School of Arts Hall — a heritage-listed building that has been the hub of community events in the village since 1912.

Presented by Kin Music, Sunshine Sounds is a festival that brings people together. A key element of the festival is the inclusion of the Eumundi School of Music — a special mentorship program for young musos (8–17 years) — who will be performing on both days.

Festival doors open Saturday 2 September 11am–10pm, and on Sunday 3 September 11am–8pm.
